Straight answers about who does the work, how pricing works, what happens after you get in touch, and who owns what at the end. If your question is not here, ask it on the quote form and a developer will answer.
Working with us
Senior developers on the MagniGeeks team, led by founder Nirmal Kumar Ram, who has worked on WordPress since 2007. We do not pass projects to outside freelancers, and the developer who scopes your project is the one who builds it.
We are in Bhubaneswar, India, on IST (UTC+5:30), and work with clients in the US, UK, Europe and Australia. Our day overlaps the European working day, the Australian afternoon and US East Coast mornings, and you get a written update every working day.
Within one business day, from a developer rather than a salesperson. Urgent problems such as a hacked or down site are usually picked up the same or next working day.
More than 2,000, for clients who came to us directly and, since 2019, through Codeable, where 788 projects carry a 4.95 out of 5 rating across 455 verified reviews.
AI helps us speed up research, implementation, testing and documentation. A senior developer remains accountable for architecture, code review, testing, security and every release decision.
Yes. We build and maintain sites white-label for agencies, under your brand, with one named developer and an agency rate of $80 an hour or $79 a site for maintenance.
Pricing and payment
Both, and the scope decides which. Defined work gets a fixed price against a written scope. Open-ended or ongoing work is billed at $90 an hour against a log you can read, and every hour is a senior developer.
Yes for a clearly defined request, which we can estimate after an initial review. Complex products, inherited systems or uncertain requirements may need a paid discovery phase first, so the proposal rests on a real specification rather than a guess.
The proposal sets out milestones, deliverables, approvals and payment timing. Work starts once the proposal is accepted and the agreed first payment is made, and larger projects are paid milestone by milestone.
If a request changes the agreed scope, we explain the effect on cost and timing before going ahead. Small clarifications inside the accepted scope do not need a change request.
Not without removing something from the scope. If the price needs to come down, we tell you exactly what comes out. A discount with nothing removed would mean the original price was padded.
Process and quality
A developer reviews the request and, where possible, your current site, then replies with the three to five questions that change the plan, or a scoped estimate, a discovery proposal or an offer of a call.
From the confirmed scope, technical risks, integrations, testing needs, release responsibilities and timeline. The proposal lists its assumptions and what is excluded.
No. Changes are built and tested on a staging copy, then released once you approve them. For hacked or broken sites we take a full backup before touching anything.
Testing is defined for each project and can include functional tests, phone and desktop checks, regression checks on critical flows such as checkout, performance checks, deployment support and app store release help. A second developer reviews the code before you see it.
Yes, it is a large part of what we do. We read the existing code, plugins and logs first and tell you what we found before proposing changes.
Ownership and security
You do, once the agreed invoices are paid: the custom code, repository and documentation, except clearly identified third-party or pre-existing components such as commercial plugins.
Please do not send production passwords in the first message. When access is needed we arrange a controlled handoff and ask only for the permissions the work requires.
No. The site stays on your hosting and in your accounts. Code is delivered in Git with a short guide, so any competent developer can maintain it later.
Maintenance, SEO and emergencies
Updates tested before they go live, daily backups, uptime and security monitoring, a monthly report, and on most plans a monthly allowance of development time. Plans run from $59 a month, month to month, cancel any time.
We usually start the same or next working day. You get a written diagnosis first, from $300, including how the attacker got in, then a fixed price for the cleanup and hardening.
Technical fixes can show in Search Console within weeks. New content usually takes three to six months to rank, which is why our SEO plans have a three-month minimum and report leading signals before clicks and enquiries.
No, and nobody honest can. We commit to the work, plain-language reporting and honesty about what is and is not moving. We never buy links.
Ask it on the quote form. A senior developer replies within one business day, with no obligation.

A plugin? A SaaS MVP? A WooCommerce system? An AI-powered feature? Tell us your idea. We'll help you figure out the way to build it.
No hard selling. No confusing technical talk. Just honest guidance from a senior development team.
Tell us what you need. A developer, not a salesperson, replies within one business day with questions or a fixed price.
